Yes, I have found a new hobby and that's spending time with the adorable kids and guiding them in their studies. In other words, it's giving them home tuition sessions. Currently, I have 12 assignments on hand and the ages of my tutees range from Primary 2 to Secondary 4. Few days back, I was teaching my Primary two tutee when she suddenly said "I love you cher" to me. When I said that her "spaghetti eraser" was really cute, she gave me to me without any hesitation and said "Cher, you know why I give you? Because I love you." Sounded pretty sweet and it felt really touching when she gave me a goodbye hug before I left. Her grandmother was pretty nice to me as well; she prepared tea and dumpling for me to eat while teaching her granddaughters. What's more surprising was that she actually asked me to eat, ignore her two grand-daughters and let them finish their work by themselves. This meant that I was literally slacking while earning money and enjoying my dumpling. But of course, I felt awkward and continued teaching after I have finished the dumpling that day. As for my Secondary 4 Tutee, her mummy was really nice as well. She chatted and joked with me and she even asked me to get discount cards from her if I want to dine in at any restaurants at Orchard Hotel. Today, I went for an hour tuition session at my Sec3 girl's house and here's a little gift from her. Well, to sum it up, I really enjoy myself teaching my 12 tutees.
