Happy Birthday ShiYingDearest ♥♥
Shiying's birthday celebration was an awesome one because she has enjoyed herself for the past two days. Let me share with you some of the places we have gone to and some things which we have done there. First of all, it was evening time and Babybaby fetched us from Jurong East. Upon fetching us, he drove us over to Bedok where we patronized the Crab Kingdom for dinner. The last time I ate there was like last year with babybaby and his friends - the crabs were tasty and amazingly huge. They served a wide variety of crabs there; depending on the weight the cost does vary. Besides ordering the black pepper crab, we have ordered other dishes as well which include my cereal prawns. Together with babybaby's friend, we headed off to Udders Ice Cream Cafe after our dinner.

Upon reaching Udders, we were told that they were about to close in 10minutes time. Hence, we bought the ice cream and headed over to Marina Barrage. It was past 11pm when we reached but it wasn't as quiet as we have expected. Some people were flying the kite while we played with light sticks and sparkles. Although the night breeze wasn't as "powerful" and we felt sticky all around, we actually enjoyed ourselves like totally. Babybaby was chatting with his friend whereas the two of us played around with the light sticks which babybaby has brought along with him. Pardon me for the dark photographs as I abhorred using flash at night because I would look totally shagged like a zombie. After spending few hours at Marina Barrage, we were craving for some cold dessert. Since it was a Monday, it was pretty difficult for us to brainstorm for any places which serve dessert at that point of time. It was already past 2am in the morning and we patronized Xin Wang HongKong Cafe which was located at Tiong Bahru Plaza. The mango dessert with pomelo tasted horribly bitter; sighs we should have gone to some other places instead. After which, we were getting exhausted and thus, it was about time for us to head home and have a good rest. Sent them back and babybaby stayed over at my place.
The wee hour was meant for a good rest but we actually slept for merely an hour before waking up to send my brother to school. From the west to the north, it was really tiring to travel early in the morning. However, it was even more tiring for babybaby to concentrate on driving when he didn't have a good rest. After sending my brother to school, we went to have mac breakfast before heading over to babybaby's house for him to catch a short nap. Well, it was the start of another day - first of all, we fetched ShiyingDear near her house and we headed off to Old Airport Road to collect our Lao Ban Beancurd. On the previous day, we've called to reserve around 18 bowls but we actually increased to 30 bowls at the eleventh hour. 9 bowls for me, 7 bowls for babybaby and the rest were meant for ShiYingDear and babybaby's friend. Yesyes, we spent $45 for thr beancurd - $1.50 per bowl for the original flavour.
After collecting the beancurd, we went over to my grandma's house as we were afraid that the beancurd might turn sour if we leave them in the car. Hence, we left the beancurd at my grandma's house before going over to Bedok to deliver the beancurd to babybaby's friend and at the same time, have lunch together. Aww, what a good service; babybaby actually delivered the 6 bowls of Lao Ban Beancurd to his doorstep. Had lunch together before heading back to grandma's house to slack and collect our beancurd. Sighs, just like that; two days would be gone for long. Nevertheless, I believe my deargirl has enjoyed herself with us ♥ In the evening time, we sent deargirl to her tutee's house before heading back to the west area. That was how we spent our two days; simple yet enjoyable. It simply feels great to spend time together with your loved ones.
