Genting Day 2
Rise and shine, it's our second day in Genting Highland. We set the alarm to trigger at 7am but we ended up snoozing it and waking up 2hours later. Got ourselves prepared and we headed off to "Only Mee" for our breakfast. Seriously, it was a wrong choice to make our first step into the cafe because the noodles were horribly plain. In addition, the noodles weren't appealing and the chef was pretty stingy as the ingredients given were very very very little. Even the Hokkien Mee sold in Singapore Hawker Centre tasted better. We were extremely disappointed with our breakfast; what a disappointment to begin my day. Stroll down and take a look at the pictures of the two bowls of plain noodles. I believe the Maggie Mee which I cook at home can be more appealing than it. Perhaps, it's more suitable for people who are feeling ill or people who have not much appetite. Sighs, we paid RM33.05 for this meal and the dining experience was horrible.

After our horrible breakfast, we headed off to the ticket counter to purchase our admission tickets to the theme park. Yes as shown in the following photograph, we purchased the All Park tickets to enjoy unlimited indoor and outdoor theme park rides. It cost merely RM66 per adult and of course, RM132 for the two of us. However, if you are interested in only trying the outdoor or indoor rides, it would be RM50 and RM30 respectively. As shown below, both the Indoor and Outdoor Theme Park Rides/Activities have been listed down for your reference. Upon purchasing the First World Indoor Theme Park admission ticket, you will also be allowed to enter the Rainforest Splash Pool.

After trying several thrilling rides, the last ride which I took was the Tea Cup. Please don't underestimate the power of this ride because I was feeling really giddy after taking this ride with my horrible boyfriend. He couldn't stop spinning and spinning and spinning; I could hardly open my eyes because I could merely see a line spinning in front of me. I was just so giddy and giddy; the urge to puke it out intensifies after the ride. Ohmygoodness if you are as weak as me, one piece of advice for you is to make this ride the last ride of your day. After trying this ride, I couldn't even force myself to try other rides. Sighs, my boyfriend just loves torturing his own girlfriend in such a weird manner ): Alright, shan't make this a wordy post because I believe pictures speak a thousand words.

After soaking ourselves in the warm pool at the Rainforest Splash Pool, we headed back to our hotel to get changed. One whole day of activities and we were feeling totally famished. We need good food badly and we've promised ourselves not to patronize "Only Mee" once again. Our first rule in searching for delicious food - no second chance should be given. After much consideration, we decided to patronize the Hainan Cafe located at First World Plaza. For me, I ordered the Assam Fish with Steamed Rice (RM16.90++) and it was delicious, probably because I'm an Assam Sauce Lover. As for my boyfriend, he ordered the Marinated Sirloin Steak with Black Pepper Sauce (RM28++) and he was kind of disappointed as it tasted really salty. Sighs, salty food will cause hypertension you know. Chef, it's really time for you to brush up on your cooking skills. As for their home cooked Sugarcane drink with chestnut, it tasted quite different from the usual Sugarcane drink which I've drunk. This meal cost us RM58 but overall, the dining experience was so much better than "Only Mee". However, we still prefer Shanghai 10.
