Just yesterday, I went over to meetup with my babybaby at JCube after his lesson. Before traveling over to Jurong East, I headed over to Jurong Point to patronize Sophisca - Sweet place for sweethearts, the newly opened shop in Singapore. Previously I had bought some interesting chocolate (condom chocolate, plaster chocolate and popping chocolate) and sweets from this shop in Taiwan and it was so much cheaper. Just a box of popping chocolate, it cost approximately SGD$6.90 in Taiwan but if you were to patronize this outlet in Singapore, it would cost you SGD14.90 to purchase the exact same box of popping chocolate. Nevertheless, I have no choice but to buy from Singapore since I won't be flying over to Taiwan any sooner I guess. Let me warn you first; popping chocolate is really addictive. Perhaps it's just me but I really the concept behind this shop. Their stuffs would really catch your attention; those stuffs are perfect candidates when it comes to giving others gifts.
JCube; not as huge as it seems probably because many of the shops are not opened. Upon reaching JCube, babybaby and I patronized Capricciosa Pasta and Pizza for our late lunch. If it's your first time visiting Capricciosa, you might find the service friendly yet irritating. The moment I point at the menu, the waiter will approach us and start recommending their main courses to us. Like hello, I'm not illiterate and I can read what's the ingredients. After introducing the main courses, he would step back and then approached us again to introduce their appetisers. Seriously, I find it kinda irritating because we do need some space of privacy. Some of you might feel that the service is good but to me, I prefer waiters/waitresses to approach us when we ask them to. Anyway, the pastas were just so average. Nothing special and I regretted for not dining in at Kungfu Paradise instead.
