First stop of the day was spent at Jiu Fen (九份) - a place where you can shop for all the local delicacies and patronize the different handcraft stores which are found along the street. One point to take note is that you can hardly find any washroom along the street and hence, it's advisable that you visit the washroom at the entrance before beginning your shopping journey. Besides that, it was raining when we were there and hence, a piece of advice for you is to bring an umbrella just in case it rains and it can be really cold there. Furthermore, be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs - it's a great time to exercise without sweating profusely.
Anyway, it's approximately more than an hour journey from our hotel to the destination. From Songshan WonStar Hotel, we walked to the SongShan Station and took the Keelung Bus (Bus No. 1062). Alternatively, you can take the same bus from ZhongXiao FuXing Mrt Station. Bear in mind, this is not a shuttle bus and you have to pay NT174 for two-way trips. Please make sure you have the exact change if you are paying by cash. Alternatively, you can top up the value to your EasyCard and tap your card instead. It's more convenient this way.
Look at the following photograph; this old uncle here was a really interesting one. He told us that he wasn't good at pushing sales and I knew he has tried his best to introduce some of the "must buy items". Besides that, he added "Buy 5 get 1 free" and I told him not to worry so much because we gonna purchase more than 10 items from him and yes, we did that. He seemed pleased; smiles and friendliness is the best way to push sales you know that? Try the jelly/pudding there; I liked it pretty much. If you purchase more than few bags of items, you can also choose to mail it back to your own country. Of course, it takes some time and most of us would prefer to bring it back ourselves though.

As our luggage were getting heavier, I have no choice but to head over to Raohe Night Market after our JiuFen Trip to search for nice huge bags or even luggage. Well, the luggage sold there were of similar price ranges as the ones which were sold in Singapore. Hence, I changed my mind and purchase this Zebra-prints bag instead. Come on, guess how much does this bag cost?
Don't be shocked; it cost merely SGD25 and it consisted of a lifetime warranty - though it's not of any benefit to me as I won't be staying in Taipei. Nevertheless, I find this bag pretty worth it as it is just like a normal luggage - with rolling luggage wheels and the adjustable handle. Tell me, what more discount can I ask for? Anyway, stroll down and that's our dinner for the night before heading back to our hotel to get prepared for our midnight flight. Well, cabbing from SongShan Hotel to Taoyuan Airport is not as cheap - it costs around NT1080. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my wonderful trip in Taipei (:
