Finally, internship has come to an end for everyone today. However, I didn’t even have the chance to step into the office this morning because I nearly fainted on my way to work. Thanks goodness WangYun rushed over to accompany me when I was feeling totally helpless. Moreover, I felt blissful because babybaby rushed over to accompany me for breakfast. Both of them were trying their best to nag at me because I’ve skipped dinner the night before and I’ve not been having my proper meals recently. Perhaps due to the lack of sleep and my horrible eating habit, it caused my body to become weaker. In the train, I was panting away and the cold sweat dripped from my forehead. Abruptly, I was feeling really breathless and everything turned giddy. Without a moment of hesitation, I alighted at the next station and rang WangYun up as I was supposed to meet her up at Raffles this morning. Sighs, I guess I have to promise myself not to skip my meals once again if not I’m going to suffer in the future. What a bad start of my Friday.
Let me rewind my post back alittle. Back on Monday, it was my 29th Monthsary with my beloved dearboy. Thus, it was pretty obvious that I would head over to Sembawang to find him after my work. Thanks babybaby for the little surprise; I really appreciate your effort. Despite your busy schedule, you remembered our monthly anniversary ♥ As of Tuesday, I met up with AdelineSweeti at MarinaSquare for dinner after work. Even though we merely spent few hours together, I really enjoyed each and every chill out sessions with her. We can talk about anything and everything; there isn't any silence when it comes to any meetup sessions with her ♥
As of Wednesday, I had lunch with Richelle and Samantha at Yan Palace Restaurant. Both of them were my colleagues from OCBC Bank and they were really nice enough to treat me for lunch. I remembered vividly that they were the ones who treated me to lunch on my first day of internship. As for now, they treated me to lunch once again because my internship would be ending pretty soon. On a side note, the dimsum there were delicious; I love the egg tarts there. That evening, I dined in at Sakae Sushi with Michelle, another intern from another course, for dinner. Once again, I killed several soft shell crabs and they were busy swimming in my intestine that night. Anyway, I was totally surprised by that fact that Michelle was my schoolmate when I was primary one. More than 10years back, we actually stayed pretty near to each other. Well, we can't deny that Singapore is really like a small red dot. 12 weeks of internship, I'm so glad to get to know her.
Another day has passed; it was the second last day of work. That afternoon, I had lunch at a
Thai Authentic Restaurant with the DBF, DFI and SMU interns. 12 of us, we had an awesome lunch together.
Anyway, that day was also an exhausting day for me as I have to rush over to YuanYuan's house for Chemistry tuition immediately after work. Even though I may not have much stuffs to handle in the office, it was quite draining for me. My brain cells almost died and my brain juice almost stop flowing last night. But guess what, I managed to survive for that one hour. I told myself that I must bear with it and my tutee actually brought along an apple for me because she knew that I had to rush over without having dinner. Such a sweet and lovely tutee ♥ Labels: End of Internship ♥
